O reflexo das cidades inteligentes na construção de espaços urbanos

Abstract

A seguinte dissertação pretende investigar o modo como as cidades inteligentes são desenvolvidas e de que maneira podem influenciar a vida do utilizador. Tornou-se necessário, numa primeira fase, entender o que são realmente as cidades inteligentes e em que se baseiam. Paralelamente, foi desenvolvido um estudo que permitisse compreender qual o comportamento dos cidadãos quando confrontados com o tema e o que esperam de uma cidade inteligente. Procurou-se ainda saber que projectos a Europa e, em especial, os municípios portugueses têm delineados neste sentido e quais as suas problemáticas. Nesta linha de pensamento, e contextualizando também com o momento pandémico que hoje se vive, serão apresentadas algumas soluções no sentido de dar resposta ao ideal de uma cidade inteligente.

The following research dissertation shows how smart cities are developed and how they can lead the user's life. It became necessary, in a first phase, to understand what smart cities really are and what they are based on. In parallel, a study was developed to understand the quality of citizens' behavior when confronted with the topic and what enriches a smart city. We also sought to find out what projects Europe and, in particular, Portuguese municipalities have outlined in this sense and what are their problems. In this line of thought, and also contextualizing with the pandemic moment that we are experiencing today, it supports some solutions in order to respond to the ideal of a smart city.
