Proposta de recuperação e salvaguarda do património arquitectónico : Solar dos Almeidas

Abstract

A temática da reabilitação de edifícios antigos tem vindo a adquirir uma crescente importância, na medida em que tem vindo a ser necessário preservar e promover o património arquitectónico. Actualmente é uma temática que se encontra na ordem do dia, e onde se abordam conceitos tão diversificados como a utilidade e a autenticidade, funcionando como uma ferramenta que colabora para o incremento sustentável da sociedade. Os conceitos de recuperação, reabilitação e reutilização sintetizam o campo temático que o presente trabalho pretende abordar, sem que para isso tenhamos de negligenciar todas as questões levantadas em relação às intervenções no património construído, assim como a referência às cartas patrimoniais, a elaboração de um diagnóstico relativo ao estado de conservação do edifício, embora em termos arquitectónicos estes sejam conceitos diferentes, mas que se complementam e compõem a base do projecto, em que se propõe transformar o antigo Solar dos Almeidas num Hotel de Charme, tendo como base uma análise do preexistente, relativamente à sua estrutura formal, tipológica, construtiva e à correcção de patologias. Com a intenção de restaurar e valorizar o estatuto inicial do edifício, apresentamos quatro casos de referência, que após uma análise à sua intervenção, retiramos conceitos para o programa do edifício em estudo, resultando num programa diversificado.

The theme of rehabilitation of old buildings has been acquiring increasing importance, in that it has been necessary to preserve and promote the architectural heritage. It is now a subject is on the agenda, in which they discuss concepts as diverse as utiliy and authenticity, working as a tool that contributes to the sustainable growth of society. The concepts of recuperation, rehabilitation and reuse synthesize the thematic field that this work intends to address, without have to overlook all those issues raised in relation to interventions in the built heritage, as well as the reference to heritage letters, making a diagnosis on the State of conservation of the building, although in different concepts they are architectural terms but which complernent each other and make up the basis of the project, in which it intends to transform the old Solar dos Almeidas on a Hotel de Charme, based on a analysis of existing, with regard to its formal structure, constructive, typological and the correction of anomalies. With the intention to restore and enhance the initial status of the building, we present four cases of reference, that after an analysis of its intervention, we take concepts to the building program, resulting in a diversified program.
