Habitação em Ofir : novas ocupações e formas de habitar

Abstract

O tema deste estudo é Arquitectura, e sua própria definição aparece como ideal na intenção de resumir este trabalho. Deriva do grego arché que significa "primeiro" ou " principal" e tékton que indica "construção", refere-se à arte ou à técnica de projectar e edificar o ambiente habitado pelo ser humano. A Arquitectura é o meio para alcançar o respeito e cuidado na organização do espaço e dos seus elementos estéticos e espaciais. Como actividade humana a Arquitectura existe desde que o homem passou a abrigar-se das intempéries. O trabalho do arquitecto envolve, portanto, toda a escala da vida do homem, desde a manual até à urbana. Ofir, lugar paradisíaco na Vila de Fão, é o espaço com o qual me ligo físicamente há dezasseis anos, tornando-se, por isso, numa natural relação emocional que, certamente, falou alto na escolha do tema que me propus tratar nesta dissertação. Se há locais onde a arquitectura marca o ritmo da história, fão é-o de certeza. Atráves desta arte de projectar e construir, podemos, facilmente chegar às realidades económicas, sociais e até delinear de quem a viveu e vive. Escolhemos o tema Habitação porque é neste que recai a intimidade do ser e suas necessidades. Da forma como o arquitecto apreende toda a realidade que envolve o projecto, resulta a maneira de como se vive a pópria casa. Todas as consequentes ligações terão num trabalho técnico que nunca poderá distanciar-se de um envolvimento íntimo entre, o arquitecto, o local e o próprio destinatário, que é tão específico. Tudo o que podemos observar da aprendizagem que cada "viagem" nos proporciona, melhores profissionais nos tornaremos. No meu entendimento, nada melhor do que estudar e pensar um lugar para se perceber o que envolve a missão de bem arquitectar, área que tudo farei para enobrecer e dignificar.

The subject of this study is Architecture, and it's own seems to me ideal in the intention to resume this work. It comes from the greek word arché that means "first" or "main" and tékton meaning "construction", it refers to art or the technic of creating and designing an environment which is going to be inhabit by the human being. Architecture is the way to achieve the respect and care of the space organization, and it's spatial and aesthetics alements. As a human activity, architecture exists since man as become to shelter itself away from the bad weather. The work of an architect involves all the scales of man's life, since the handcraft until the urban one. The place of Ofir, in the village of fão, it's a place with whom i'm involved physically since sixteen years ago, that way it has become a natural emotional relationship that made me choose this theme for my thesis. In this vollage life, as any history, architecture is the main testimonial. Through this art of designing and building, we can understand the social and economical reality, and even draw a first sketech of whom has lived there. The choice of this theme, specifically of the habitation itself has the intention to understand the human being and it's needs. The way that the architect understands it's designing surroundings, will influence the way that people will live the house designing. Every links after it, has result in a technical work that can never be away from the responsability that the architect has to have of the type of client and the type of place because these two are very specific. Every thing that we can learn from this "journey" will make us better professionally. In my understanding, nothing is better than to think of a place in order to know what is needed to achieve a good design, in which I'm going to be responsible for.
